EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Kiesha received a Bachelor of Arts degree from NC A&T State University in Communications/ Broadcast News and a Master of Education Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina State University. She is the author of BOLD Faith, a 21-day devotional designed with every woman in mind. And, she co-authored Sister to Sister: A Guide for African American Girls, a compilation of stories and life experiences to inspire and encourage girls on their journey into womanhood. In Chapter 8 entitled, “Self-Awareness…Ready or Not Here I Come!” Cousar writes, sharing the experiences of her youth, the benefits of self-discovery and empowering girls to pursue a standard of excellence.
Kiesha speaks within corporations, community-based organizations, and schools, universities, conferences, retreats, churches, and faith-based organizations. With her unique flair and solution-focused, faith-filled approach, she stands boldly with you and speaks to every doubt with truth enabling you to see that before you say “can’t” you must say “can!” Kiesha L. Cousar is known to lead by listening and empowering others with an “iCan” attitude toward authentic identity and living life intentionally.
